Kent Skates FREE Ice Skating

Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Kent Skates is an outdoor ice skating rink that is free and open to the public, including free skate rental. The rink is located on E. Erie St. in downtown Kent, between SR 59 (Haymaker Pkwy.) and S. Depeyster St., between the PARTA parking deck and the Kent State University Hotel & Conference Center.

The skating venue features food and beverages at the Zamboni Café snack bar, visits from food trucks, with restaurants and shops of downtown Kent just steps away!

This special attraction has been created through a partnership between the City of Kent, the Kent State Hotel and Conference Center, the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Kent and Kent State University.
