We are community advocates—growing, bettering, promoting & making Kent a better place to live, visit & do business.
We rely on contributions from companies, individuals, and organizations alike to help us achieve our mission. You can be a part of the ongoing revitalization efforts and the sustainability of downtown Kent. We rely on volunteers for everything we do, and funding is a part of that, too. Every bit of donated time and money helps!
what does the money go towards?
Donations to Main Street Kent go toward a number of things, including marketing efforts, public art projects, clean-up efforts, special events, our general operating fund, and more. Want to support a specific effort? Just tell us!

Some of our biggest supporters include: the City of Kent, The Davey Tree Expert Company, AMETEK, Smithers-Oasis, College Town Kent, Hometown Bank, Crooked River Arts Council, and Portage Community Bank.

Get involved with Main Street Kent
At Main Street Kent, we do more than host great events. We support our downtown businesses through year-round marketing efforts, promote historic preservation, and keep our downtown beautiful through many volunteer-lead programs.
Events
All year long, we produce events that drive traffic to our downtown businesses: Progressive Events, Chocolate Walk, Art & Wine Festival, Oktoberfest, Small Business Saturday, & ‘Round Town Music Festival.
Programs
We keep our downtown beautiful, alive and full of art through: Adopt-A-Spot, Clean-Up Kent Days, Holiday Lights & Window Decorating Contest, & Public Art Projects.

Main Street Kent is always looking for friendly, energetic, reliable individuals to become volunteers with our organization. Every event we host requires the help of volunteers. Being a Main Street Kent volunteer is a great way to meet new people, know what’s going on in our community, and give back to it.
